Academic Career Guidance for SSLC Students
NSSYGB had organized a "Academic Career Guidance" a Online Webinar for SSLC passed out Students by our Expert Panels on 16 August 2020 from 4:00 PM onwards.
A Panel of Experts who are experienced in the field of education for decades had helped the students in planning and giving direction to pursue their future academic path.
Recently, SSLC results were announced and many students of Namadev Simpi Community across state have excelled in it. These students along with their parents would be searching for future prospects and be in a dilemma for which stream to opt in PUC, selection of future technical and competitive courses, colleges, etc.
NSSYGB team had contacted to various samaj members from various places from karnataka with a circular. Some of them had been contacted personally through the phone and were invited from this event. Most of the members were happy regarding the step taken by NNSYGB members to help students of the samaj during this pandemic. As most of the students were in dilema in choosing the courses and their careers. Around 30-40 cities in karnataka were contacted and a invitation was sent to samaj members. Most of the students had enrolled their names for the webinar. As this was the first time NSSYGB had come forward to do a online webinar for PUC-2 passed out student by various panels for this event. A various expertise were contacted for this event and most of them gave a positive sign for this event and came forward with their thoughts for the event. Click Here to view the invitation
The event started sharly aroud 4:00 PM with welcoming all the participants by our Vice President Shri Santosh Pise with the DO's and Dont's for the students. Later the program started with the prayer to Lord Ganesha by Smt. Shweta Pise. Later on NSSYGB Treasurer Shri R S Murali Latori welcomed all the guests panelists and students their parents and other samaj elders from various places. Later NSSYGB president addressed the webinar with thanking the panelist and other members who attended the webinar. And then NSSYGB Organising Secretary Shri Sachin Putanikar gave a brief introduction about the NSSYGB organization when was it started with what goals, how many members and what its short term and long term goals. Expert Panels introduction was given by Shri Madhu S Durgoji.

Mrs. Suma Mahendrakar, Director and Trustee of IBMR Hubballi : She gave a brief description of the courses available after completion of PUC-2. The courses available for science, commerce, diploma, NDA, and others.
Shri. Vijay Kumar Patil Kulkarni, M.Sc Graduate with Chemistry & holds MBA from IIMA Lucknow. Have more than 30+ years of experience in the area of teaching and training. He gave a brief idea about Science stream and its courses available.
Nazeem Hussain Misrikoti, Professor, Trainer, Mentor. Nazeem Sir gave a brief Introduction about the Commerce Stream. What courses are available for Commerce stream how may years duration for each courses, what exams needs to be passed to persive higher degrees or masters degree. At the end of his session Nazeem gave a beautiful quote or saying regarding life "Realize the Real with your Real Eyes".
Smt. Kanchana Anand Durgoji, A Lecturer in Economics, serving in Govt. P U College Attiguppe, Bengaluru. After 10th the stream or a path you choose will played a vital role in determining your career path. Kanchana madam gave a brief introduction about the Arts streams and various other branches they can choose after their degree. What all competitive exams or jobs they can get.
Shri. Sanjeev G Gadag, B.Tech, Diploma in Software Development. Have more than 40+ years of experience in the areas of manufacturing, Administration, Student Counselling. He gave a brief idea about how to choose right path for the student or their parent they should select.
Before the end of the programme there was a QnA section where most of the students doubts were answered by various panels and their doubts were cleared on the spot. In future if any student need any help from these experts they can contact them at any time, their details were been shared at last during the programme. At last the president thanked all the students and their parents and all the Samaj members from various places around karnataka and other places in and around the globe. Later vote of thanks was done by Shri Naveen Kakade our NSSYGB Joint Secretary.
Nearly 50-60 active members were present in this online webinar and over 30+ views were seen on Youtube. A lot of students and parents have got benefited by this program. We have recieved a lot of feedbacks from the parents and students regarding the benefit they have recieved from this event.
